Rich Schlauch, MSW, LISW-CP, LCSW

Rich is the Director of Palmetto Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC. He is licensed in both North and South Carolina as a clinical social worker and has been engaged in clinical practice with children, adults and families in residential and outpatient treatment settings since 1997.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winthrop University and received his Master?s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Rich later consulted with the University of South Carolina's College of Social Work, in which he co-authored a decision case study on death and dying that was published by Columbia University Press in 2008. As an advocate for mental health awareness, he has served on local and state committees to address issues such as child abuse prevention, client rights, and social policy. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and previously served as Vice President for the South Carolina Chapter NASW Board of Directors.

As an eclectic practitioner, Rich draws upon several theoretical models which include the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy and other psycho-therapeutic approaches to work with diverse populations such as persons with severe and chronic mental health problems to individuals who require brief,solution-based therapy or life coaching skills.

Among his areas of expertise, he specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, relationship problems, marriage counseling, and grief and loss. Rich?s understanding, non-judgmental and supportive approach allows his clients to develop needed skills and gain valuable insight so they can move forward with their lives.


Theresa ?Teri? Kibbe, M.Ed, LPC

Drawing upon 20 years of professional experience, Teri is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina and has a wide range of mental health treatment in her work with individuals, families, and groups. Teri received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Ohio University and later obtained her Master of Education (M.Ed) in Counseling and Development from Winthrop University.

As part of her approach to counseling, Ms. Kibbe incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy along with a solution focused / brief therapeutic model to psychotherapy. Among her many areas of expertise, Teri received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) and specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, post traumatic stress disorder [PTSD], addiction, stress management, and women's issues.


Jean Earhart, MSW, LISW-CP, LCSW

Jean has been practicing individual, family and marriage counseling since 1997. After raising four children, she graduated from the University Of South Carolina-Columbia with a Master?s degree in Social Work. She worked for seven years with families whose children were in state custody and specializes in working with families who suffer from addictions.

Jean is now focusing on couples where one partner struggles with addictions. She also specializes in working with couples who want to improve their relationships, pre-marital couples, and families with difficult teens. Her approach is based on family systems theory and attachment theory. She has practiced social work in North and South Carolina, Utah, and California and is a clinical member of the National Association of Social Workers.


Donna Faile, MA, LPC

Donna L. Faile graduated from Regent University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. She is licensed as a professional counselor in North and South Carolina and has been practicing in outpatient and inpatient treatment for over 14 years. She counsels children (10 years and older), adolescents, and adults. She enjoys working with clients in individual therapy, as well as in group counseling settings.

Donna?s approach to counseling is psychologically eclectic and integrative. She draws heavily on cognitive behavioral and rational emotive therapies as a basis for intervention. The philosophy of her strategy is that ?changing the way we think helps us change the way we feel and the choices that we make.? Her specialties include depression, anxiety, women?s issues, co-dependency, self-esteem and LGBT issues. Her passion is to help those who have been wounded by life?s rejections, disappointments and disillusionments.


Cathy Vezzetti - Office Manager

Since her arrival in 2010, Cathy has become an instrumental part of the practice. In her current role as Office Manager, she is responsible for managing a variety of duties including bookkeeping, credentialing, information management, accounts payable / accounts receivable, insurance reimbursement, supervision of Office Personnel, and other important office functions. After moving to the Rock Hill area in 1996, Cathy has been very active volunteering for various schools within the Rock Hill School District and with the Upper Palmetto YMCA Rays Swim Team.

Service At Palmetto Counseling Sessions are conducted in a supportive, comfortable, and confidential setting. This allows clients to develop positive coping skills and identify strengths so they can move forward with their lives.

EAP / Short-Term Counseling services: employees, supervisors,and management personnel may seek consultation on how to resolve workplace or personal issues. Topics may include workplace stress, family or relationship problems, conflict resolution, communication skills, team building, and mental health / substance abuse education.

Clinical Evaluation / Diagnostic Assessment: Evaluation for ADD / ADHD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Addiction, and other mental health conditions.

Christian Counseling: Christian counseling designed to help clients find answers in biblical truth as they seek to enhance their day-to-day lives. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).

Clinical Consultation: Clinical consultation and training to other professionals and agencies in their work with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents, and positive parenting / parent-training.
