OVERVIEW
The Stakeholder Communications Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing communications initiatives to build brand awareness and demand generation for the organization and its health insurance solutions. The Manager will personally develop or oversee the production of a variety of materials needed to effectively acquire and retain members and other stakeholders. The incumbent must be well versed in both online and off-line mediums with proven experience developing effective communications for B2B and B2C audiences. The Manager reports to the VP, Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Engagement. In a small team environment, the Manager works cross-functionally with the VP and Public Relations & Social Media Manager to develop integrated communications strategies that are innovative and effective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develops effective communications and outreach materials to support member pre- and post-sale enrollment in CoOportunity Health products and services
? Develops effective communications and outreach materials to support affinity partnerships
? Develops communications materials for channel partners including training
? Develops effective communications to build relationships with B2B stakeholders: employers, brokers, providers
? Develop and manage targeted campaigns for traditional and social media platforms to support outreach initiatives, create brand awareness and visibility, and increaseB2C and B2B audience interest
? Manages website content for external stakeholders audiences on public and secure audience portals including original content creation and editing
? Serves as editor of stakeholder-specific periodicals, newsletters or electronic alerts
? Works closely with company leadership, product and channel management, and outreach teams
? Works collaboratively with internal communications team and external communications partners/freelancers to ensure integration of effort and consistency in brand positioning

PERFORMANCE METRICS
? Timely and effective development of outreach materials to support member acquisition, development and retention
? Timely and effective development of communications for channel and affinity partners
? Timely and effective development of communications to build relationships with B2B stakeholders: employers, brokers, providers
? Satisfactory performance measures of ?owned? communication assets including audience-specific user web portals and e-newsletters
? Meets standards for publishing content to audiences in accordance with established editorial calendars
? Effectively collaborates with senior leadership and other team members throughout the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

Required skills/experience
? Bachelor?s degree in communications with emphasis on marketing communications
? Minimum of 10 years professional experience in marketing communications is required
? Must have excellent technology skills with command of Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with content management systems, social media administrative tools and publishing software
? Strong writing skills in a variety of print, online and broadcast mediums
? Experience in B2C and B2B marketing required
? Experience developing sales and outreach materials for complex products
? Experience developing retention communications including electronic newsletters
? Experience developing performance metrics for communications campaigns and initiatives
? Self-starter with the ability to take initiative to proactively suggest and execute programs based on assessed needs
? Demonstrated ability to develop broad professional knowledge of employer?s industry in order to effectively champion the company?s differentiators and manage issues or crises
? Experience in management of and collaboration with external resources such as agencies or freelancers
? Must perform duties under deadline pressure in a fast-paced, high volume, office work environment with multi-tasking capabilities
? Proven ability to leverage peer relationships within an organization
? Some travel required

Desired skills/experience
? Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of health insurance industry
? Knowledge of Iowa and Nebraska markets
? Knowledge of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), HIPPA, NCQA and other regulatory initiatives that impact health insurance payers
